For years, we've offered free domestic shipping on every order — no minimums, no codes, no catching you at checkout with surprise fees. That was the deal, and we stuck to it as long as we could.

But between tariffs, fuel costs, and supply chain chaos, shipping a single tee now costs us more than some orders are worth. We absorbed it. We waited. We hoped things would stabilize. They didn't.

So here's what's changing.

Why Now?

Small businesses don't have the leverage Amazon has. We don't negotiate bulk shipping rates with carriers. We don't have distribution centers in every state. We're two people in Texas trying to keep costs reasonable while the entire logistics industry is on fire.

Tariffs on imported materials, fuel price volatility, carrier rate hikes — it all compounds. And when you're shipping one shirt at a time, those costs hit harder than if you're moving pallets.

We held out longer than most brands our size. But we can't keep eating 100% of shipping costs and still keep the lights on.

What Hasn't Changed

Free shipping over $75 is still free. No minimum increase. No sneaky fine print. Order two shirts and you're there.

We're still running sales. Expect discount codes, seasonal promotions, and flash deals as often as we can swing them. If we can offset rising costs with volume, we will.

Same quality. Same designs. Same refusal to make boring shirts. None of that changes.

The Reality Check

Most small brands charge $5–$8 for standard shipping. Some charge $10+. A $3.99 flat rate is still on the low end, and we're keeping it there deliberately.

We know you have options. We know you could buy graphic tees anywhere. The fact that you're here — supporting an independent brand instead of clicking "Add to Cart" on a mass-market site — means something to us.

So we're keeping shipping as low as we can without losing money on every single-item order. That's the trade-off.

What You Can Expect Going Forward

More sales to help offset the shipping fee. We'll run promos as often as we can to make sure you're still getting value, even with the new policy.

No games. No bait-and-switch. The price you see is the price you pay. $3.99 flat rate means $3.99 flat rate — not "starting at" or "up to."

Transparency when things change. If costs keep rising and we have to adjust again, we'll tell you. No stealth price hikes, no burying updates in fine print.

Why We're Telling You This

Because you deserve to know. You're not just customers — you're the reason this works. And when something changes, especially something that affects your wallet, you shouldn't have to find out at checkout.

We could have quietly flipped the switch and hoped nobody noticed. But that's not how we operate. If we're asking you to pay for shipping, you should know why.

The short version: global economics are a mess, small businesses are absorbing the impact, and we can't keep giving away shipping without going broke.

The longer version: tariffs, fuel costs, carrier fees, and supply chain instability have all compounded over the past year, and free shipping on single-item orders is no longer sustainable for independent brands our size.

We held out as long as we could. Now we're asking for $3.99 on smaller orders, and we'll keep doing everything we can to make sure you're still getting value.
