MindPop Threads is a women-owned independent graphic apparel brand based in Dallas, Texas, creating original graphic tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, tanks, crop tops, yoga wear, accessories, and gifts for people who don’t fit neatly into boxes—and never really tried to.
At first glance, our collections might look all over the place. One minute it’s a gaming shirt. Next it’s menopause humor. Then it’s British sarcasm, a music reference, a dog design, a Halloween obsession, or a yoga tank that takes itself a little too seriously.
That’s intentional.
Because MindPop Threads isn’t built around a niche.
It’s built around a generation.
Everything we create is filtered through a Gen X perspective—the generation that grew up on Saturday morning cartoons, Atari 2600, mixtapes, horror movies, and being told to “figure it out” with minimal supervision. We learned sarcasm as a survival skill, entertainment before algorithms, and independence before it was branded as self-help.
We didn’t come with one setting. We came with all of them.
That’s why our designs jump from gaming to yoga to music to menopause to dogs to pop culture to whatever else life throws at us. The topics change. The perspective doesn’t.
We’re not selling a niche. We’re celebrating a generation that never fit inside one.
Our designs blend bold graphics, sarcasm, nostalgia, and dark humor. No toxic positivity. No trend-chasing. No inspirational quotes floating over watercolor sunsets. Just original artwork for people who prefer personality over perfection—and have fully stopped apologizing for being “a lot.”
Some designs are nostalgic. Some are sarcastic. Some are slightly unhinged. Most of them are funny because, frankly, humor is cheaper than therapy.

.THE FOUNDING STORY
MindPop Threads was founded in Dallas, Texas by two women who met in Los Angeles, stayed friends across time zones and life chapters, and eventually landed on "let's start a clothing brand" as a completely reasonable response to the state of the world.What started as a passing introduction in LA became a real friendship. A few years later — after Shelley returned from Costa Rica and the world became unbearable enough to require commentary — MindPop Threads was born.

Doli came up through pinup photography, graphic design, and weekend shoots best described as feminism meets crime scene. With a background in action sports media and an art brain that prefers to work at questionable hours, her creative process usually looks like wandering around in the dark until inspiration trips over her.

Mobile dog washing in Australia. Boutique hotel in Costa Rica. Coffee shop in Los Angeles. A long list of ventures that reads like chaos but really just means: she doesn’t stop moving, learning, or building things.
Shell brings the British strange, a sharp business brain, and the ability to generate three new ideas before you’ve finished your coffee. One of those ideas was MindPop Threads. We’re choosing to believe the others were worse.
Between the two of us, we have one functioning attention span, a complicated relationship with spellcheck, and decades of experience collecting weird life stories, questionable hobbies, and strong opinions.
Somehow, all of that turned into a brand.
MindPop Threads exists because we believe life is messy, humor helps, and clothing should say something—even if that something is sarcastic.
